Meetings

Meetings will be held on the 1st Thursday of the month, starting at 10.30 am and finishing at 12.30 pm.
Venue: Kea Community Centre, 47 Old Coach Road, Playing Place TR3 6ET.
Plenty of parking available, regular bus service from Truro bus station, journey time approximately 10 mins.

Joe Armstrong – Oil Painting Demonstration

Thursday 6th November 2025 10.30am -12.30pm
Sarah Seddon – Printing Techniques
 Sarah studied Fine Art at University College, Falmouth and works from her studio at home and the John Howard studio in Penryn. Her prints are developed using traditional metal plate etching, where each final image is individually hand wiped and a set number (usually 10) produced.

Christmas Party
Seasonal sketching and painting subject. Prize given to the best one, as voted by members.
Bring a small plate of food to share. TAS will provide the drinks.


8th January 2026 – note NOT 1st Thursday
Figure Sketching morning (NOT life drawing).
A clothed model will pose for sketching/painting. At least four poses across the morning.

John Brenton Oil Seascapes
John has a gallery on Lemon Street, Truro with a display of his delightful seascapes which he sells around the country. He will demonstrate another painting during the morning.

Thursday 5th March 2026 10.30am – 12.30pm
Pen and wash session, led by Martin Perman. Paint along using ink and watercolour, subject print supplied.

Thursday 2rd April 2026 10.30am – 12.30pm
Fiona Pruden
New member Fiona will organise a ‘paint along’ watercolour session, subject tbc nearer the time.
